关于job title

斑竹,我刚刚winnipeg找到工作,公司问我job title填什么可以帮我移民,我也不是很清楚.我是学business administration的,请问什么样的title跟我的专业相关?像Administrative Support Clerk, Marketing Consultant, Sales Consultant可以么?

what is your major area? Finance, accounting.....???

Never put down Administrative Support Clerk, there is too many people avaliable out in the job market

consultant is a too general term, also the title need to match your salary on the letter, I will expect you have $ 50000 for this title

\" XXX Analyst\" is a more suitable one

我的major就是business administration,没有更specific area. 我的工资没有那么高呀~ $20000左右的什么title合适呢?谢谢LS

Ur job title must match with Canadian National Occupational Classification (NOC). For instance like those 2 below:

0114 Administrative Services Managers  

4163 Business Development Officers and Marketing Researchers

U will be secure, if ur employer can give u this kind of titles with a Job Offer match ur occupation and what ur learnt from BU.

One more tip ... \"officer\" and \"sales person\" is not a good title, cerntainlly u can still apply and receive ur post graduate work permit as a \"Officer\", but it drag ur legs while going through immigration later on. Therefore if there is one \"officer\" or \"sales person\" on ur job offer, ask ur employer change it to \"supervisor\" for ur ...

BTW \"technical sales person\" and \"retail/wholesale buyers\" are exceptions

if still not sure or have any further concern, u may seek help from MPNP office after u arrive.  or Call at 204 945 2806, if they don\'t have an answer of ur question. they will point out another department for u.

It is perfectly ok to take up a job with the title \"officer\". The title of \"supervisor\" is of course good but it is much more difficult to come by and will need years of work experience to achieve that status or title or job offer.
